At Cuebric, our goal was to create a unified product that provides a seamless, layer-based workflow. Key challenges included:
Unifying Diverse Tools: Integrating multiple advanced features into a single, cohesive interface without fragmenting the user experience.

Key Features & UX Innovations
Image Generation
I led significant improvements to Cuebric's image generator, enabling users to create four images at once and explore different viewing modes. We introduced powerful new features, such as group layer management, custom image sizing, and advanced lighting control through the "Control Image" tool. These enhancements provided users with greater flexibility and creative control, making the image creation process more dynamic and efficient.
Advanced Segmentation Techniques
To meet the demand for precise segmentation, we continuously refined our tools and introduced several key innovations:
Feathering, Choking, and Advanced Mask Editing: These enhancements improved control over segmentation, resulting in smoother transitions and better contrast in complex areas.
"Segment All" Feature: This feature was prototyped and user-tested, enabling users to segment all elements at once, which showed promising results. However, due to technical limitations and poor performance in real-world applications, it was eventually phased out.
Brush Integration: By adding brushes to the segmentation tools, we provided users with greater flexibility and precision when working with complex images.
New Masking Techniques: We explored advanced methods for cutting and copying layers, offering more control and flexibility during the segmentation process.
Parallax Preview
The Parallax Preview tool has transformed the user experience by providing a real-time view of layered images in motion. By simulating camera movements, it enables users to visualize their work in context, making it an essential pre-production step. This feature empowers creators to refine their scenes before finalizing the setup.
The Best Inpainting
Thanks to our talented developers, we now have one of the best Inpainting tools available. Through extensive testing of multiple hypotheses, we achieved an exceptional user experience (UX). During the final rounds of testing, it was gratifying to see users easily navigate the tool and successfully achieve their desired results.
Project Hub
The Project Hub is an essential tool for efficiently storing, organizing, and managing both active and completed projects. Users can effortlessly save projects, track version histories, and access crucial project-specific assets from their gallery.
Assets
The gallery functions as a personal asset library for users to store, view, and manage their generated images and completed assets. With a tagging and categorization system, users can easily retrieve past work, reference, or repurpose images without re-generating them, which enhances their workflow efficiency.
Seamless Account & Subscription Management
Profile Management: Users can update their personal information, change passwords, and customize their profile settings.
Subscription Management: We received feedback from users about the challenges in changing or canceling their subscription plans and the desire for an easy account deletion process. In response, we developed a clear and user-friendly method for canceling subscriptions and a straightforward way to delete accounts, allowing users to manage their accounts with confidence.
